Career
He represented Glengarry in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1923 to 1926 and from 1929 to 1937 as a Liberal member. He was born in Bainsville, Lancaster Township, Canada West, the son of George Sangster. He served on the township council, serving ten years as reeve and warden for the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry in 1922.
Sangster was a merchant in Bainsville in partnership with Doctorate. Doctorate. McCuaig.
He died in office in 1937.
