Swanwick was born in Bacchus Marsh, Australia but grew up in Brisbane, Australia.

Education

He was educated at the Anglican Church Grammar School and earned a bachelor"s degree from the University of Queensland in 1998, specializing in government and history.

Career

Swanwick is the creator of the 30 Day Number Alcohol Challenge, host of top-ranking podcast The James Swanwick Show, a former "SportsCenter" anchor on Entertainment and Sports Programming Network and an award-winning journalist. He is the author of two books and has interviewed A-List celebrities including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, George Clooney, Arnold Schwarzenegger and world leaders, including former United States. Vice President First Rate (at Lloyd's) Gore. Swanwick hosts The James Swanwick Show which helps people in four pillars of life - health, wealth, love and happiness.

The show has world-class experts as guests, including New York Times best-selling authors, millionaires, celebrity personal trainers and relationship experts.

Swanwick is best known as a former anchor on Entertainment and Sports Programming Network’s "Sportscenter", the Australia and New Zealand version, which is produced out of Entertainment and Sports Programming Network’s global headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut. Swanwick is the creator of the 30 Day Number Alcohol Challenge, which inspires people to take a 30-day break from alcohol.

He co-founded and owns international media agency, Crocmedia, which he started with fellow journalist Craig Hutchison which is based in Melbourne, Australia. Swanwick has had a long career as a print, television and radio journalist.

He moved to Los Angeles in 2003 as a Hollywood entertainment correspondent, writing for leading newspapers and magazines throughout Australia and Britain.

He appeared on several television and radio shows. In 2010, he began his career at Entertainment and Sports Programming Network hosting SportsCenter.

Achievements

• Swanwick won the prestigious Queensland Media Award in 1996 for his interview and expose on Pauline Hanson, one of Australia’s most publicized and controversial political figures.

He began his career in 1993 as a reporter at The Courier-Mail in Brisbane, Australia where he covered business, finance, politics, industrial relations, police, television and entertainment and sport. Swanwick interviewed Hollywood stars including Nicole Kidman, Matthew McConaughey, Russell Crowe, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Michael Douglas, Jamie Foxx and Lindsay Lohan.
