Art writer and on editorial staff New York Herald, 1902-1907. Founder, 1904, owner and editor American Art News (weekly journal). Director S.I. Beach Land Improvement Company Secretary 25th assembly district Republican organization, 1888-1892.

Republican candidate for Congress, 13th New York District, 1896. New York commissioner Charleston Exposition, 1901-1902. Art director Charleston Exposition, 1901-1902.
