Achievements include discovery of similarity between lava shield volcanoes from Iceland and ubiquitous domes on Venus; development of geologic applications of laser altimetry for studying volcanoes and craters; co-discovery of age paradox of Popigai impact event; continuing development of remote sensing signatures of impact craters.
