Farrand, James Clinton was born on November 3, 1947 in Oklahoma City. Son of Robert Lee and Gladys Marie Farrand.


Bachelor of Music in EDn., Oklahoma Baptist University, Shawnee, 1971. Master of Music, Southwestern Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas, 1978. Post graduate in Leadership Theory and Development.

Post graduate in Executive and Life Skills Coaching. Post graduate in Organizational Health and Team Building.


Associate pastor First Baptist Church, McAlester, Oklahoma, 1979—1989, Shawnee, from 1989. Adjunct professor Oklahoma Baptist University, Shawnee, 1990—1993, guest lecturer. Conductor Shawnee Choral Society.
