Studied music, Leipzig, 1851-1854.

Career

Organist Trinity Church, Boston, 1864-1891. Examiner N.E. Conservatory of Music, Boston, since 1893. His principal works are: Redemption Hymn.

Blind King; St. John. Life of Man (oratorio), composed for solo, chorus and orchestra. Also several church services.
