Cahill & Marquart, P.A. was founded in 1981 by James Doctorate. Cahill and his son, Steven J. Cahill, the two then having a combined 28 years experience in civil litigation, practicing in a local general practice firm. Today, as in 1981, our philosophy is that no longer can a lawyer be all things to all people and do it well.
Thus we have, from the beginning, limited our practice to civil litigation in Eastern and Central North Dakota and Northwestern Minnesota. Joined over the years by Steven L. Marquart and Barton J. Cahill, the members of the firm are all admitted to the bar and licensed to practice in both Minnesota and North Dakota.
