Director of extension Ayrshire Breeders Association, Brandon, Vermont, 1916-1917, secretary-treasurer, 1917-1922. Live stock sales manager and commission agent, 1922-1923. Live stock editor New England Homestead, Springfield, Massachusetts, 1923-1932, editor, since 1932.

President and partner New England Homestead Company. Organized and developed sheep dog trials in United States. Judge of dairy cattle at state fairs and expns.

Speaker on agricultural topics. Trustee and member Executive Committee Eastern States Exposition, Springfield, Massachusetts President American Agricultural Editors Association, 1943.
