The firm was established in 1981 by Mary Ann Stiles, who had previously served as Executive Vice President and Executive Counsel of Associated Industries of Florida. At the time of formation of the firm, Ms. Stiles was then and still is, recognized as one of the most knowledgeable individuals in the United States in the area of workers' compensation.

She has been retained as a consultant by at least six different states to advise those states' respective legislatures about revisions to the state's workers compensation law. The firm has four offices across the State of Florida offering a wide range of legal services in a timely and cost-effective manner. Today, the firm represents clients throughout Florida, the Nation and the World.
