Educated Lake Forest, Illinois. Studied music Berlin and Paris, 1875-1880.

Career

Composer of about 300 compositions, including songs, piano pieces, anthems and part-songs. Three cantatas: The Man of Nazareth. The New Life; The Mystery of Bethlehem.

40 organ pieces; 3 sonatas and suites. 2 Catholic Masses; 4 complete Jewish services. Also piano studies and etudes with graded compositions for students.
