Preached in country churches.
Admitted to ministry, 1888, and served a group of churches in Texas, also stated clerk of Presbytery many years. Settled at Denton, 1925.
Pastor First Church, Fort Worth, beginning in 1929 (resigned). Pastor Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Denton, 1929-1936 (built church and secured location for Orphans’ Home in Denton), retired.
Organized 12 churches; built 5 churches and 3 manses.
President Board of Sunday Schools and Young Peoples Work of Texas Synod 6 years. Superintendent Orphans’ Home, Denton, Texas. Elected moderator General Assembly Cumberland Presbyterian Church, May 1931.
