Capell, Howard, Knabe & Cobbs, P.A. began as a two-member partnership of Jack Capell and Fontaine Howard in 1947, expanded to four members in 1953 and became a 14 member professional association in 1971. The firm was then and continues to be one of the largest law firms in Montgomery, Alabama.
