James Robert Halladay, American Rubber chemist. Achievements include patent for oil-resistant elastomeric coating; patent for high damped organic rubber composition; development of high temperature elastomer with a novel cure system which led to the firstuse of rubber in the engine mounts of the Boeing 737, 757 and 767 engines.
