Studied at Trinity College, Dublin. Master of Arts Obtained a cadetship in the Royal Irish Constabulary, 1868.
Career
Was employed in Egypt in the organisation of the Police, 1883-1886. Is a Pasha, and has the Order of the Medjidie, 2nd class. Was County Inspector of Royal Irish Constabulary, and Justice of the Peace for Cork City and County.
Chairman General Prisons Board of Ireland since 1895. C. B., 1899.
