McCallum, James Scott was born on May 2, 1950 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States. Son of George Duncan and Marilyn Joy (Libke) McCallum.


Bachelor, Macalester College, 1972. Master of Arts, Johns Hopkins University, 1974.


Member Wisconsin State Senate, Madison, 1977-1987. Lieutenant governor State of Wisconsin, since 1987.


Chairman Fond du Lac County Representatives, 1974-1976, Wisconsin Safe Kids Project. Member resolutions committee Wisconsin State Republican Convention, 1977.
