The research will attempt to employ concepts of cultural processes to analyze the differential change in two immigrant groups from the island of Rhodes, Greece, who have settled in two American communities, Warren, Ohio and Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. The migrations from Rhodes began in 1905 and have continued up to the present. The study will describe and compare the changes in these two communities, showing how much and how often the Rhodian sub-culture correlates with that of the total Hellenic culture.
