TRAIL, James William Helenus was born on March 4, 1851 in Birsay, Orkney. Youngest son of late Very Reverend Samuel Trail, Doctor of Divinity, Doctor of Laws, Professor of Systematic Theology in the University of Aberdeen, 1867-1887. Moderator of the Church of Scotland, 1874.
