Career
After leaving the group in 2002 due to being at constant logger heads with Tommy (the other song writer in Space), he started a new group called Firehead with Vince Camilleri. Jamie was the co singer songwriter with Vince Camilleri who played guitar for ex Beatles drummer Pete Best & Franny Griffiths in the new Liverpool band DUST,Vinnie Jamieson from Echo & The Bunnymen played drums for them.Vince Camilleri is now Spaceman V Manitoba and released his first single "Spaceman" www.spacemanvman.co.uk
Murphy was well known for writing the more punky/edgy songs during his time in Space.
