Member of Third Committee of General Assembly 1947. Alternate Permanent Representative to United Nations since 1947, now Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative. Chairman of Saudi Arabian Delegation to Special Session on Development and International Economic Co-operation 1975.
Chairman of Saudi Arabian Delegation to Conference on Law of the Sea 1976, 1977. Saudi Ambassador to the United Nations.
