Yana Oleksandrivna Klochkova is a Ukrainian swimmer, who has won five Olympic medals in her career, with four of them being gold.

In 2001 she graduated from the Kharkov School of Physical Culture and Sports. In 2004 - Kiev National University of Physical Education and Sports.
Career
She is Master of Sports, World Class and the only multi gold medal holder (more than two) in Ukraine. Her gold medals came in the 200 meter individual medley and the 400 meter individual medley at the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics. Her silver medal came in the 800 meter freestyle at the 2000 Summer Olympics.
She currently holds the short-course world record in the 400 meter individual medley.
Her 400 m individual medley world record was broken by American Katie Hoff at the 2007 World Championships in Melbourne. In 2004, she was named by Swimming World magazine as the World Female Swimmer of the Year.
Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine (2000). Four-time Olympic champion in Sydney (2000) and Athens (2004) at distances of 200 and 400 m complex swimming. Silver medalist of the Olympic Games (2000) at a distance of 800 m freestyle. World champion in 2001 at a distance of 400 m in complex swimming and freestyle and in 2003 at a distance of 200 and 400 m in complex swimming. Silver medalist at the World Championships (1998 and 2001). Multiple winner and medalist of the European Championships (1997-2004). In 2000, she set a world record at a distance of 400 m in complex swimming (4 min 33.59 s; beaten in 2007). Multiple short course world champion (1999, 2000 and 2002). In 2004 she was recognized as w. Swimming World, the best swimmer in the world.
