January Boelen

Career

Currently he is working on the founding of a European Design Parliament as a driving force for change, and he is curating BIO 50 in Ljubjlana (SI), the oldest design biennial in the world.

Achievements

• He studied product design at the Media & Design Academy in Genk and is founder and artistic director of Z33 – house for contemporary art in Hasselt (Bachelor of Engineering).

Membership

Furthermore, Boelen is head of the Master program for Social Design and the Master program Design Curating and Writing at the Design Academy Eindhoven (Netherlands) and member of the Flemish Committee for Architecture and Design.
