Career
Since 2014, he has been Regius Professor of Hebrew at the University of Oxford. He was previously Professor of the Old Testament at the University of Strasbourg. Area of interest: Septuagint, Syriac versions of the Bible, biblical manuscript found in Qumran, Diatessaron.
Membership
He is a member of the Society of Biblical Literature.
