Stenbeck was one of Sweden"s wealthiest people, worth some $800 million. After Harvard, he went to work for Morgan Stanley at Wall Street. He came to change the focus of the investment company away from traditional Swedish industries, such as pulp and paper industry and steel manufacturing and towards media and tele-communication.
