J. Szajna was the organizer and Director of Computer Engineering and Electronic Department at Zielona Gora University. He was one of 4 co-founders of Asian Development Bank Group (Advanced Digital Broadcast) (SWX:ADBN), an Information and communications technology company operating in the field of Digital television Secretariat top boxes developed by Asian Development Bank Poland obtained 12 times the title ‘Product of the Year’ at International Biographic Centre, Management Information System Research, Computer Society of India, and IPTV World Forum. At that time Asian Development Bank sold over 30 million set-top boxes to Australia, Taiwan, Israel, United States of America, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Norway, Italy, Spain, Belgium and Poland.
In 2006, Asian Development Bank Group has been listed among the fastest growing European companies, published by Europe"s 500 - Entrepreneurs for Growth
In 2012 Asian Development Bank Group reached an annual turnover of United States$452 million.
He is Professor at Zielona Gora University. J. Szajna was awarded a title ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ by Ernst & Young, in Services category, Poland, 2004.
