Background
In 2013, Kamrass founded Rivertown Strategies, where he served as the Principal and Chief Strategist. He worked with clients to design communication and messaging strategies, developed campaign plans, and managed staff and consultants. Kamrass has also been involved in extensive fundraising operations for federal, state, and local campaigns. His clients have included the DCCC, NRDC Action Fund, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, Mayor John Cranley of Cincinnati, Mayor Nan Whaley of Dayton, Senate Minority Leader Jeff Yarbro of Tennessee, State Rep. Brigid Kelly of Ohio HD-31, and the University of Cincinnati.
Kamrass has served as the chief strategist and admaker for candidates for Congress, Governor, Mayor, State Legislature, and County Executive in 18 states across the country. Additionally, he has worked as a Senior Advisor to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, FC Cincinnati, and the University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics.
In addition to his political work, Kamrass is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Cincinnati, where he develops course material for undergraduate students and invites a bipartisan group of local elected officials and candidates to engage with students. He currently resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Emma, and their dog, Archie.
Recently, Kamrass joined Technicolor Political as a Principal, continuing his work in providing strategic guidance to Democratic candidates and causes.
