Career
He currently plays with the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League, who signed him from his college hockey team, the RPI Engineers of the ECAC Hockey conference. Kasdorf was selected by the Winnipeg Jets in the 6th round (157th overall) of the 2011 National Hockey League Entry Draft. On February 11, 2015, the Winnipeg Jets traded Kasdorf, along with Evander Kane and Zach Bogosian, to the Sabres in exchange for Tyler Myers, Drew Stafford, Joel Armia, Brendan Lemieux, and a conditional first-round pick in the 2015 National Hockey League Entry Draft.
On March 14, 2016 Kasdorf signed an entry-level contract with the Buffalo Sabres.
Kasdorf attends the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he plays with the National Collegiate Athletic Association Men"s Division I RPI Engineers of the ECAC Hockey conference.
