As an extensive traveller Ross has visited every continent (finishing with Antarctica) before returning to Australia to take up a position as media adviser in Pauline Hanson"s One Nation Party during the height of its political prowess and controversy at the end of the 1990s. He returned to acting in 2006-2007, when he appeared on the nationally broadcast television series Down n Out, and has appeared on Australia"s longest running television program - Joys World with Joy Hruby.

The production is the first international children's British Broadcasting Corporation production, following a successful submission and international competition.

A child actor and musician, he recorded his first album (you can just hear him with all his class mates) at the age of nine and performed at the Sydney Opera House that same year as a member of his school class. His top guests were Mark Evans (Air Corps/District of Columbia), Fred Nile (Minister, Member of the New South Wales Parliament) and Phillip Adams. The fourth season features interviews given on Brazilian television program O Globo while filming the pacification of the military of drug run favelas in Brazil, Members of Zambian parliamentary elections and many other stories.
