Career
Weaver was a right-handed batsman who fielded as a wicket-keeper. Weaver made his debut for Shropshire in the 1989 Minor Counties Championship against Wiltshire. Weaver played Minor counties cricket for Shropshire from 1989 to 1991, which included 11 Minor Counties Championship appearances and a single MCCA Knockout Trophy match.
He made his List A debut against Derbyshire in the 1990 National Westminster Trophy.
In this match, he was dismissed for a duck by Ole Mortensen. He made a further List A appearance against Leicestershire in the 1991 National Westminster Trophy.
He scored 6 runs in this match, before being dismissed by Craig Wilkinson.
