Career
In 2007 Ali sang the song "Ek Din Teri Raahon Mein" from the movie Naqaab and thereafter the song "Jashn-e-Bahaaran" from the movie Jodhaa Akbar (2008). He is a playback singer in Hindi, Bengali, Odia, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi. He judged a reality show Sa Re Georgia Ma Pa Li"l Champs 2011 on Zee television Recently he recorded song "Sajna" composed and arranged by Archit Tak and Akshay Deep Singh for the movie "Meeradha" produced by SPJ Entertainment.
Born and brought up in Delhi, Ali started singing at a very early age with his father – a popular qawwali singer, Ustad Hamid Hussain.
