Barrio was born in Logroño, Louisiana Rioja.

Career

A product of hometown"s UD Logroñés he signed a contract with Racing de Santander in 2010, being assigned to the reserves in Segunda División B.

On 21 April 2013 he made his league debut, playing the full 90 minutes in a 0–1 loss at Villarreal CF for the Segunda División championship. On 12 August 2014 Barrio joined Huracán Valencia CF, in the third level

Achievements

• Barrio made his first-team debut on 13 December 2011, starting in a 3–2 home win against Rayo Vallecano for the season"s Copa del Rey (eventual 6–6 aggregate win).
