Jay William Crofoot

Background

Jay Crofoot was born on the 1st of May, 1874, in Niles, New York, United States.

Education

He staudied at the Wellsville High School in New York, and also graduated from the Alfred University.

Career

He was a three times President of the Mokanshan Summer Resort Association. Then he worked as a Secretary of the East China Christian Educational Association. Later he became a member of Shanghai Moral Welfare League, holding various offices. He was appointed as a Principal of the Temporary Language School for new Missionaries held in Shanghai in February 1912.
