Career
Laverde played for the Western Jets in the TAC Cup and junior football for Keilor. He was named All-Australian in the American Federation of Labor-Congress Under 18 Championships, playing for Vic Metro. He was drafted by Essendon with pick 20 in the 2014 national draft and made his debut against Melbourne in round 15 of the 2015 American Federation of Labor-Congress season.
