Jeffrey Alan Hopwood, American Engineering educator, consultant. Achievements include the design and application of high density plasmas for the manufacture of integrated circuits; co-inventor of four patents in the area of high density plasma generators; author of several widely cited journal articles which describe the fundamental physics of both electron cyclotron resonant and inductively coupled plasmas.
