Shaw, Jei-Fu was born on April 28, 1948 in Tainan, Taiwan. Son of Wan-Chuan and Wang-Lieu (Wang) Shaw.

Director Division Post Harvest Biotechnology National Agricultural Biotechnology Program, since 1998. Vice chairperson Agricultural Biotechnology Committee National Institute Biotechnology and Medicine Industry, since 2003.
