Her victory came in 2002 in Istanbul, Turkey. A Barstow, California local, she bested 17 other contestants to earn the title. Prior to the Mission Globe title, she was adjudged Mission Barstow, Reina Internacional del Pacífico, Mission Citrus Valley, and Teen Mission Barstow.
