On 24 April 2015, Thomasen got his debut for OB. Thomasen started on the bench, but replaced Mathias Greve in the 63nd minut in a 2-0 victory against Esbjerg fB in the Danish Superliga. At the age of just 19, Thomasen was moved to the first team squad in the summer 2015. On 1 November 2015, Thomasen got his contract extended until 2019.
