Hicks, Jerry was born on November 28, 1936 in Bakersfield, California, United States. Son of Fred Henry Hicks and Beverly Louisita Manson.

Member technical staff Rockwell Autonetics, Anaheim, California. With California National Guard, 1955-1956, with United States Air Force, 1956-1960.
