Career
He was last the Director of Basketball Operations for the Marquette Golden Eagles. He was also the head coach of DePaul University Blue Demons from 2005–2010. Following his mid-season firing in 2010, Wainwright left college basketball to promote charity causes in North Carolina.
Over the past two seasons, in 2010 and 2011, Wainwright has served as an in-studio analyst for Sirius XM"s Mad Dog Radio"s National Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament coverage with Chris "Mad Dog" Russo.
