Jerzy Sołtan Born on March 6, 1913 in Prezma, died September 16, 2005 in Cambridge, Master of Arts; was a Polish architect who worked with Le Corbusier and was the Robinson, Junior., Professor of Architecture and Urban Design at Harvard University"s Graduate School of Design, where he taught from 1959 until his retirement in 1979.

Worked with Le Corbusier, France 1945-1949. Professor Academy, of Fine Arts, Warsaw 1949-1965. Professor Graduate. School of Design, Harvard University 1961-1978, Professor Emeritus since 1978.
Architectural practice in Warsaw 193839, 1950-1965.
Design practice (with A. Szabo) in Cambridge, Massachusetts 1967-1969, with several architects in United States of America since 1969. Honorary Professor, of Architecture, University Villareal, Lima, Peru.
Achievements

His teaching work at the school was first recognized by the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture when he received the ACSA Distinguished Professor Award in 1986-1987. The American Institute of Architects and the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture jointly awarded Soltan the Topaz Medallion for Excellence in Architectural Education in 2002.
