Career
Began as assayer, Colorado, 1893. One of the first in America to make use of cyanide process in extracting gold and silver from ores. Spent many years in Mexico and S.A., in remote places, working out metallurgical problems.
Was metallurgical engineer Utah Copper Company, and oil flotation expert Ray Consolidated Copper Company. Sales engineer Taylor Wharton Iron and Steel Company. Now manager Downtown Mines Company, Leadville, Colorado.
