Education high school, Benton Harbor, Michigan, and extension courses, University of Michigan, 1905-1906, University of Wisconsin, 1907-1908.


Began as rodman, C.C.C.&St. Louis Railway, 1904. Assistant to the president of the U.P. Railroad Company and subsidiary lines, 1920-1937, vice president, 1929-1942, special representative, 1942-1943. Chairman of the Board Pacific City Lines, March 1, 1942-February 1, 1947.

President Railway Equipment & Realty Limited company and Key System 1946-1947. President Western Transit Company, Bellingham City Lines, Butte City Lines, Everett City Lines, Fresno City Lines, Great Falls City Lines since February 1, 1947. President Vancouver-Portland Business Company, 1949-1960.
