She has been nominated four times for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Award for Best Editing. Three of these nominations were for the first three films directed by Baz Luhrmann (Moulin Rouge! - 2002, Romeo + Juliet - 1996, and Strictly Ballroom - 1992).
The fourth British Academy of Film and Television Arts nomination was for Elizabeth (directed by Shekhar Kapur - 1998). Bilcock was selected for membership in the American Cinema Editors.
