Education
After earning a theatre degree at the University of Nebraska, Jim moved to Los Angeles, where he earned an Master of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California Actor Training Program.

He is a native of Lincoln, Nebraska. The last ten years have seen Jim become a familiar face with countless commercial appearances, as well as many television and film roles. He stars in the most recent line of commercials, from Cox Communications.
Membership
He appears regularly onstage as a member of The Production Company at the Lex Theatre, is a regular performer at Slap & Tickle sketch comedy shows, and is also the creator of the web series Jeff the Cat: Merchant of Darkness.
