Career
He has written two acclaimed novels, one of which was nominated for a Pen United States of America award. He writes comic novels about the human condition with characters who are almost always marginalized. He is currently at work on a fourth novel, Broken Arrows, a follow up to the award-nominated A Bottle of Rain, and follows a misfit band of "Jim People" as his readers call his characters as they co-exist on Tybee Island, Georgia.
