A 4th round selection (29th overall pick) of the 1966 American Federation of Labor-Congress Draft out of Wichita State University, Waskiewicz played for the American Federation of Labor-Congress"s New York Jets (1966–1967) and the NFL"s Atlanta Falcons (1969).
