Career
From 1965 to 1967 Jimmie was a director of the photography department of Youth in Action in Brooklyn, New York, United States. Also, he served as a consultant to the Ministry of Information in Guyana. He held this position until 1974.
From 1974 to 1976 Jimmie was the managing director of Gillham Productions. Since 1976 he was a director of a film cooperative entitled New Images. In this year he produced, directed and wrote Aggro Seizeman, and in 1971 he was a producer and cameraman for The Fight, which was the first Ali-Frazier fight film.
