Zhong, Jingchang was born on July 18, 1938 in Changchun, Jilin, China. Son of Rongjiu and Suyun (Hao) Zhong.

New Mexico, Albuquerque, 1991-1993. Director optoelectronics department China National Key Laboratory, Changchun, since 1993, Research Institute Modern Optics, Changchun, 1984-1990. Advisor Chinese Scholars Federation of Optoelectronic Circus, Albuquerque, 1991-1993.
