Graduated from Columbia University (1918); entered Nozaki Store and after serving as manager of New York Branch became director (1934), managing director (1936), executive director (1945) and then president of the company (1949). Holds additional posts of director of Japan Trade Association and Japan Central and South America Trade Association.
