Career
After graduating from Tokyo University (1919), he worked with the Asahi Shimbun (newspaper) for five years, and then started his career anew as a playwright and joined the scenario writers group, Engeki Shincho.
After a drama based on his scenario "Mother" was performed at the Ichimuraza Theater, he devoted himself to scenario writing. Among the scenarios he published were "Beggar and Dream" and "We Won't Lose".
