In 1912, Jiro Yamaguchi graduated from Tokyo Higher Commercial School.
Career
From 1914Jiro Yamaguchi entered Moribayashi-Gumi Civil Engineering & Construction Company and served at its New York Branch. In 1919, he entered Nihon Toki Kaisha (Nihon Ceramics Company) and served as a chief of Accounting Section. Later, he became a chief of General Affairs Department, director, and then a permanent auditor. Since 1948, he was a President of Nihon Sekko Kaisha (Nihon Gypsum Company). He held additional post of the president of Nihon Sekko Kyokai (Japan Gypsum Association).
